We operate independently of any form of political or corporate entity; led by evidence, unconstrained by the blob. That means we get things done better and faster, without draining public resources.

Independence - We're not aligned to any political party, but where politics gets in the way of progress, we have the tools required to navigate this.

who we are
grow.scot was founded in a personal capacity by policy and public affairs professional Cameron Gillies. It operates independently of any employer, organisation or political party. Cameron has experience across business, Scottish politics, public policy and strategic communications. He has also spent four years serving in the British Army. grow.scot has been created to provide a constructive, evidence-led contribution to Scotland’s policy debate and to help turn serious ideas into deliverable policy.
